Shout out!

Right now I am sitting in the HBLL waiting to meet my group for a project and I thought I would update this thing with the 15 minutes I have.
Yesterday, it was this boys birthday!!

(GQ model-agreed?!)

So in High School I was always Ardie's sidekick-both voluntarily and involuntarily. As the little sister sidekick I had plenty of jobs-scratching his back-taking notes for him-agreeing with him-going to all of his basketball games-laughing at his jokes-waking him up in the morning because he was late... the truth is though that none of these were ever jobs for me (okay most of them weren't) I loved going to all of his basketball games cheering him on, having late night conversations when we were both tired and knew we would regret it in the morning, laughing at his jokes because they were seriously funny...Many times I would say to him, "Ardie what are you going to do without me?" and he would just say, "the REAL question is, what are you going to do without ME?" Basically, he never owned up to my help until April 2nd 2012.

My own personal shout out in the letter he wrote home:
Hi Family,
I have the camera cord in my pocket but I don't have my camera. I forgot it in the apartment. I actually took pictures of the apartment and my package. I will remember to bring my camera next week. Where is Kirsten when I need her, she would always remind me of stuff like that. Kirsten would tell me of how much she had to remind in high school but I would always deny it. It was true and I wish Kirsten could be here reminding me and taking notes for me. Perhaps, when I am older and in a sweet job Kirsten can be my secretary or something.

Well Ardie I am glad I can be your secretary when you get a "sweet job" :). Although, I have a feeling that I will be the one getting you a sweet job.

The truth is, I miss being your sidekick and to answer your question, "what are you going to do without me?" I have no idea :( but I am doing it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Proof

( Craig and his Rebel Pride!)

We just got home from Murray a little bit ago and we already miss the little boys!! When I got home I realized it is Ardie's birthday this week so I wrote him a quick e-mail. Since everyone gets mad that I don't write him, here is my proof that I do in fact write him.... occasionally :). Guess what? I even sent him pictures, I go ALL out!

Hi Elder Ashton,
I know you are probably thinking wow does that girl still exist...well I do! I love getting your e-mails every Monday and I must admit, Mondays used to be the lamest day of the week but now they aren't even that bad because that is when you write :) School is going good and life in general is pretty great just a lot of work! I hope you are getting along with your companion and that he isn't terribly messy like your last one! Did you get to watch General Conference? It is always nice listening to the prophet speak and hearing all of the apostles counsel. Mindy and I were in Murray for the weekend. The little boys are soo cute and are growing like crazy. Craig can't stop talking and James just does everything Craig does. Craig likes to have full on conversations with you and will say things like "How was your day?" or "How are you feeling?" Before we went up for the weekend he called us and talked for about fifteen minutes just about everything, it is pretty cute to have conversations with him. Little "French Fry" is a cutie too. I tried calling him "French Fry" but I quickly resorted back to adam, I think that is a nickname that only you will have for him :) Happy Birthday!! Love you lots!! Stay Safe.

What to look forward to/night conversations

Things to look forward to!!!
-school being over
-going home
-warm weather
-talking to ardie

and

drum roll please....

the NBA coming to town!!!

I am at work for mindy tonight and I will probably go home once I finish this...well whatever this random groupings of words is!

It has been a way good semester and I have loved living with mindy!

Mindy and I always seem to have the weirdest conversations at night when we are both really tired. For instance...
Set the stage...the lights are off, it is cold and we are tucked in bed.

Me-"Mindy, did I turn off the oven?"
Mindy-"I am sure we would have noticed if it wasn't off"
Me-"Min our lifes aren't the only ones riding on the oven being off. We should go check it"
Mindy-"okay, go check it"
Me- "yeah but its cold"
-our roommate was in the living room so we came up with a plan
Mindy-" okay fine, Why don't you call Melissa's phone(who is in the living room) and have her check it"
Me-"wow nice plan min"

I did not follow mindy's brilliant plan!!!
